CCM Builders, a family-owned business which has been general contracting and developing real estate in the South Bay got approval to develop a z-shaped complex with hotel rooms, residential units, and a pool.<\/p>\n
The project is welcomed by the community and is expected to contribute to the city\u2019s goal of growing its hotel industry as well as create much-needed housing in Imperial Beach, as featured on the ABC 10News San Diego (https:\/\/www.10news.com\/news\/local-news\/long-time-vacant-lot-could-get-hotels-apartments<\/a>).<\/p>\n The project is called Blue Wave and consists of a 73,000-sqft four-story complex with 47 hotel rooms, 51 residential units, and an underground parking garage with 106 spaces. It also includes a two-story commercial building that adds a restaurant, shops, and an office.<\/p>\n S3DA was awarded the structural design and MEP design of this project, particularly because of our capabilities to handle both types of projects simultaneously.
